Me touching the waters of the Chattooga. I don’t think the bridge in the background was seen in the movie. Still, it’s pretty creepy. I believe most of the river scenes were filmed further down the river, but as they could only be gotten to by canoe or raft, this was about as close as I could get.

Clayton, GA. Reputedly the banjo kid from Deliverance lives in this town (dadadumdumdumdumdumdumdum…).
